The Mutua Madrid Open not only hosts the ATP and WTA competitions in the Caja Magica during the fortnight of competition from 21 April to 4 May, it is also staging the Under-16 event again this season, where you can see the biggest talents in the category. The champions will be decided from 30 April to 3 May on the same courts graced by the stars of world tennis.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

After a long calendar\u00a0across\u00a0the\u00a0entire\u00a0Spanish territory, 32 players (16 boys and 16 girls) have earned themselves a place in the Final Stage since the circuit began in June 2024 in Santander.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Real Sociedad de Tenis de la Magdalena\u00a0hosted the first heat, where\u00a0Marc Mart\u00edn Roca\u00a0and\u00a0Maria Diago Martin\u00a0got the win and the first ticket to the\u00a0Caja M\u00e1gica.\u00a0In July,\u00a0Real Club de Tenis San Sebasti\u00e1n\u00a0provided the stage for the second event, where\u00a0\u00d3scar Casas Mas\u00a0and\u00a0Adriana Monlleo Ramos\u00a0came out on top.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In September, the tour stopped off at\u00a0Club de Campo Villa de Madrid,\u00a0which witnessed wins for\u00a0Alejandro Hern\u00e1ndez Ramada\u00a0and\u00a0Daria M Grigore,\u00a0and\u00a0Club de Tenis Pamplona,\u00a0where\u00a0Adri\u00e1 Vel\u00e1zquez Farre\u00a0and\u00a0Carla Guerrero Calvo\u00a0were victorious.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Real Club Jolaseta\u00a0in\u00a0Bilbao\u00a0was the venue in October for the fifth heat, when\u00a0Mart\u00edn Rodr\u00edguez Pellicena\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Ailish Garc\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez\u00a0got their hands on the trophy.\u00a0In November it was\u00a0Club R\u00edo Grande\u00a0in\u00a0Seville that saw\u00a0Agust\u00edn Siancha Borlenghi\u00a0and\u00a0Vega Aguilar Fern\u00e1ndez\u00a0top the podium. BTT Tennis Academy\u00a0in\u00a0Valldoreix\u00a0crowned\u00a0Alberto Pulido Moreno\u00a0and\u00a0Anna Orlando Pellicero.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Halfway through the calendar, the eighth event was held at\u00a0the\u00a0Academia Tenis Ferrer\u00a0in\u00a0Javea (Alicante),\u00a0and it was\u00a0Adolfo Abascal Casta\u00f1o\u00a0and\u00a0Vega Aguilar, for the second time, who took the spoils. From there to\u00a0Ciudad de la Raqueta\u00a0in\u00a0Madrid\u00a0in December, where\u00a0Jorge Mart\u00ednez Vasquez\u00a0and\u00a0Maria Koziar\u00a0won the finals.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In\u00a02025, Real Aeroclub C\u00f3rdoba\u00a0kicked off the year with victories for\u00a0<\/span>Aleix Galindo Puig\u00a0and\u00a0Alexia Paula Bastos Sousa. Murcia Club de Tenis,\u00a0also in January,\u00a0put on the eleventh heat and\u00a0Evan Galea\u00a0and\u00a0Marta Gayoso De los R\u00edos\u00a0sealed their passage to the final stage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In February we travelled to\u00a0Valencia, or more specifically to\u00a0Sporting Club de Tenis\u00a0which again crowned\u00a0Alejandro Hern\u00e1ndez Ramada\u00a0and\u00a0Adriana Monlleo Ramos.\u00a0In the same month,\u00a0at\u00a0Club de Tenis M\u00e1laga\u00a0it was\u00a0Dar\u00edo Ortega Ferrero\u00a0and\u00a0Ainara Fern\u00e1ndez S\u00e1nchez\u00a0who took the spoils.\u00a0The circuit then\u00a0visited\u00a0Mallorca,\u00a0for the fourteenth heat, at the\u00a0Rafa Nadal Academy.\u00a0There, Toni Escarda Pi\u00f1eiro\u00a0and\u00a0Luc\u00eda Rodr\u00edguez Dom\u00ednguez\u00a0booked\u00a0themselves a spot\u00a0in the finals.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Cercle Sabadell\u00e9s\u00a0was unable to host the tournament due to the rainy conditions in March and the Caja Magica brought an end to the tour with wins for\u00a0<\/span>Daniel Eusamio Gonz\u00e1lez\u00a0and\u00a0Sof\u00eda Barrios Garc\u00eda.\u00a0A further five players qualified due to their performances on the circuit: \u00c1lvaro Lago Furio, \u00d3scar Darder Dias, Paola Napal Villanueva, Luisa Mar\u00eda Oprescu\u00a0and\u00a0Nahia S\u00e1nchez-Mar\u00edn Garc\u00eda.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
